McPhee says Parkway's FA Cup exit one of his 'lowest moments'

PLYMOUTH Parkway's FA Cup campaign came to a premature end on Saturday after they were dismantled 0-4 by Frome Town at Bolitho Park.

The Robins, who had been relegated from the Southern South Premier last season, thoroughly outworked Parkway in the first half and found themselves 0-3 up at the break thanks to goals from George Dowling, David Duru, and an own goal from Max Edgecombe.

Albie Hopkins then made it 0-4 early in the second half, heading home a cross from Duru to well and truly put Parkway to bed.

Speaking after the game, Parkway boss Chris McPhee dubbed the result as ‘one of the lowest moments in his managerial career’:

“It’s thoroughly disappointing” said McPhee.

A grand time tasting 'cider done right'

ADGE Cutler sang: “I am a cider drinker.” Well, I’m not. Actually, I don’t even drink nowadays, and I was still working out on the journey how to tell the folk at Sandford Orchards, who had invited me to a Tour and Tasting Evening.
