Let us see Armada Way tree felling report asap

THE Independent Learning Review report (into Plymouth City Council’s decision that led to the felling of 129 trees on Armada Way in March 2023) is to be published on May 22nd - six months after the commencement of the review. It will then be discussed at a full council meeting.

In order to submit a question to be asked of the Cabinet at a full council meeting, a member of the public must send it in five working days before the meeting.

Full council meetings always fall on a Monday and it wasn’t long ago that Plymouth City Council would accept a question from a member of the public on the Monday before.

More recently however, they have decided that the Monday before didn’t count as a day, and questions must go in on the Friday before that - a whole 10 days before the meeting.
