CLEVERLEY RUES LACK OF RUTHLESSNESS WHEN SIDE ON TOP

- By CHRIS ERRINGTON

TOM Cleverley admitted Plymouth Argyle did not make the most of first half dominance as they conceded twice in the second half to lose 2-1 at Stockport County on Saturday.

It was, as Cleverley noted, a classic 'game of two halves' against promotion-chasing Stockport, with the Pilgrims more than deserving their 1-0 lead at halftime.

They had created a number of good chances before they finally broke the deadlock in the 42nd minute when Caleb Watts got the final touch on the ball after an angle shot from Mathias Ross.

However, Stockport came back strongly in the second period, and especially after a triple substitution of attack-minded players, and it led to top scorer Kyle Wootton netting in the 69th and 85th minutes.
