Fashion brand to leave, but two shops on way

ANOTHER leading fashion brand is closing its shop in Plymouth’s Drake Circus Shopping Centre - but two new stores are opening soon.

Bosses at the British Land-owned mall said jewellery chain Swarovski and shoe store Office are on their way in, with one set to fill the space vacated by women's fashion chain Quiz.

Office, a “leading edge fashion footwear specialist”, will open in the lower mall in a unit soon to be vacated by Quiz, while Swarovski is expected to move into the upper mall unit where stationery retailer Mooch recently closed.

Office started in 1983 as a concession in a London department store and got its name because it originally displayed products on old office furniture. Its first standalone shop opened in the Kings Road the following year.
