TUCHEL'S SIDE CAN CLINCH WORLD CUP QUALIFICATION TONIGHT
ENGLAND continue their quest for World Cup qualification against Latvia tonight (KO 7.45pm) and they could get the job done in Riga.
England can qualify for the 2026 World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico with victory. Albania’s 1-0 win over Serbia in Belgrade on Sunday means Thomas Tuchel’s side cannot be caught at the top of Group K if they win in Latvia.
England have coasted through the group stage so far, winning all five games without conceding a goal, so a comfortable win is highly likely.
A, surprising, draw would mean their qualification fate would go into November's international window, when they play Serbia at home and Albania away.
