(ANDY PHILLIPS)

A COBBLER who specialises in climbing shoes has taken his business to new heights by opening a new shop in Ivybridge.

Richard Brookland, who has been repairing shoes for 13 years after quitting as an estate agent, has opened his shop The Climbing Cobbler on Costly Street in the town.

He repairs all types of shoes, but specialises in climbers' shoes which, he said, can be resoled for £30 while a new pair can set you back £150 or more.
