Charity sends Christmas boxes out to Ukraine
The Herald
|November 13, 2025
A PLYMOUTH charitable group has once again filled and donated Christmas shoeboxes for children in Ukraine, an initiative which has become an annual tradition for the group.
A six-strong team from Plymouth Soroptimists filled 50 shoeboxes, which have been taken to a collection point for Plymouth Ukraine Medical Aid (PUMA), who will deliver the boxes before Christmas.
Other members of the Plymouth club also contributed to the initiative by wrapping the shoe boxes in festive paper and donating items.
