STRIKER HEADS TO GERMANY AFTER REJECTING NEW DEAL

MUSTAPHA Bundu has joined German second division side Hannover 96 after rejecting the offer of a new contract from Plymouth Argyle.

The Sierra Leone international attacker has spent the last two seasons with Argyle and finished last term as their 11-goal second top scorer, one behind Ryan Hardie, who completed a reported £700,000 transfer to newly-promoted Championship club Wrexham last week.

Bundu has agreed a three-year contract with Hannover, who finished ninth in 2. Bundesliga in 2024/25. That means the 28-year-old is set to come up against Miron Muslic, who left his role as the Pilgrims’ head coach earlier this summer to take charge of Schalke, who finished five positions below Hannover last term.
