US Protesters Back Ukraine After Vance Berates Zelenskyy

Protests against the Trump administration over its meeting with the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy erupted across the US on Saturday, including near a ski resort where the vice-president, JD Vance, was on holiday with his family.
Roadside protesters holding signs reading "Vermont stands with Ukraine" and "Go ski in Russia" stretched for around half a mile in Waitsfield, Vermont, where many waved Ukrainian flags in solidarity.
At a contentious Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy on Friday, Vance berated the Ukrainian leader for challenging Donald Trump's assertions that Vladimir Putin could be trusted.
Fox News aired video of the protesters, but blurred out signs displaying messages against Vance and in favor of Ukraine.
"After what he did yesterday, he crossed the line," one protester, Cori Giroux, told Vermont Public radio on Saturday.
