Salvage team brings Bayesian to port to start search for answers

The superyacht of the late British technology tycoon Mike Lynch has been moved to a port in Sicily where British and Italian investigators will examine its sinking.
Lynch, 59, and his daughter Hannah, 18, were among seven people who died when the Bayesian sank during a storm last August. Salvage teams lifted the 56-metre (184ft) yacht clear of the water on Saturday and it was taken to the harbour at Porticello at about 1.10pm yesterday.
The wreck was held above the water by one of Europe's most powerful floating sea cranes. Two hours later it was moved 12 miles to Termini Imerese, where it was due to be transferred into a specially manufactured steel cradle with a tarpaulin underneath for pollution prevention.
