Comeback kid-US hit comedy Malcolm in the Middle returns after 18 years

The pair, who played the chaotic parents of the eponymous Malcolm, reprised their catchphrase in a video posted on social media on Friday to announce that the hit sitcom would be returning with its beloved original cast.

Frankie Muniz, who is now 39 and reprises his role as the show's protagonist, said: "I have been waiting for this moment for 18 years. Let's find out where Malcolm and his family are now."

Disney+ has commissioned four new episodes with a storyline based on Malcolm and his daughter being drawn back "into the family's chaos when Hal [Cranston] and Lois [Kaczmarek] demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party".
