'Badass' Rushdie says he had no PTSD symptoms after stabbing

Salman Rushdie said he has been free of the symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder despite almost dying from being stabbed during an attack in 2022, prompting his therapist to conclude it was because the novelist is a "badass".
Rushdie recounted the anecdote during an interview aired on Sunday morning by the US channel CBS News in which he discussed his new fiction collection, titled The Eleventh Hour. He revisited the attack, which took place at a literary gathering in western New York state and left him blind in his right eye.
