Victories keep coming for the Mohawks

TEES Valley Mohawks Ladies secured a fine victory on the road over North Herts Knights, coming away with a convincing 84-53 win to move joint top of the league.

Mohawks put in a unstoppable first half performance with good shooting from Lara Cornelius and Bree Butler. Hertfordshire got more into the game in the second half, but Mohawks had too much power and kept a big lead throughout the game.
Lara Cornelius top scored with 28 points earning MVP whilst young Bree Butler was in fine form with 22 points.
Coach Butler said: “This was a great team effort, the girls put ina great shift and thoroughly deserved the victory, we are getting better each week as the girls get to know each other more.”
