Versatility of pair a big plus for Edwards

ROB Edwards says Marcus Forss and Delano Burgzorg can be important players for Middlesbrough next season because of their versatility.

The pair have most frequently been used as wide forwards in their Boro careers to date. But both played as centre forwards for previous clubs and have been used in the role at Boro from time to time too, albeit with less success than as wide players.

For Edwards, the pair both had spells leading the line in Saturday's friendly draw with Mansfield as Boro continue work on signing a striker after Josh Coburn’s sale to Millwall earlier this summer. Forss replaced Conway as a striker at halftime before moving back to the right wing in the 63rd minute when six more changes were made, one of which saw Burgzorg come on as the striker.
