The increased cost of watching Boro...
The Gazette
|July 02, 2025
MIDDLESBROUGH fans have expressed fears that attendances at the Riverside could dip next season, as season cards went back on sale with increases to prices.
After a price freeze during the early-bird sales period earlier this year, Boro put season cards back on sale for the new season yesterday, with new prices to reflect that the early-bird sales period was over.
The increases mean that the cheapest adult season ticket is now £620, which works out at just under £27 per game.
The club had also introduced a new under-11 category for this season, while an interest-free installment plan over four payments is available after being introduced last year following consultations with supporters who expressed their disappointment in price rises.
But the new prices, which for adults range between £620 and £781 have once again disappointed many supporters, with some expressing fears that the high prices could result in lower attendances next season as many are priced out.
