Shocking video of arson attack on house shared

FOOTAGE has been shared of arsonists endangering the lives of a Thornaby couple who woke to find their garden and home on fire.

As reported in yesterday's Gazette, two petrol bombs were thrown at the house, on Lunebeck Walk, in an attack by thugs who are thought to have targeted the wrong property.

Karen and Tosh Holmes were asleep when the arsonists struck on May 31, with the fire spreading from garden furniture into their front room.

Footage of the attack shows a yob lighting the two missiles and hurling them at the wall of the house before making off on a motorbike ridden by another.

Karen and Tosh were alerted by a neighbour and they managed to escape uninjured, but they have been left devastated by the loss of memories and photos of their two late sons.
