The clash with Millwall led to a fresh debate about the future of Josh Coburn who may, or may not, be back at the Boro next season.

It probably made sense at the time to allow Coburn to leave on loan to the Lions because there was a greater chance of him getting plenty of valuable pitch time.

In this respect he would come back a more experienced player with a bigger chance of competing for a regular first team place here.
