With the series tied at one game apiece, the Grand Slam-seeking TNT Tropang 5G and the San Miguel Beermen fight for the 2-1 lead in Game 3 of the best-of-seven PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup Finals today (Friday, July 18) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Game time is set at 7:30 p.m. In the opener, TNT squandered a huge 24-point lead but held their ground when the game was on the line. Thanks to a controversial offensive interference by SMB's Moala Tautuaa in the dying seconds of the thrilling contest, the Tropa escaped with a 99-96 victory.

But the Beermen moved on quickly from the disappointing defeat. Drawing stellar performances from Don Trollano, June Mar Fajardo and Tautuaa, SMB lashed back at TNT, 98-92, in Game 2 last Wednesday night, July 16.
