Scouting Month is a time to celebrate the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. They are young people who choose to live with honor, service, and love for God, country, and others.

Throughout this month, we remember that being a Scout is more than wearing a uniform or earning badges. It is about keeping promises, helping those in need, protecting the environment, and building character. Scouting Month reminds us that every small act of kindness, courage, and responsibility brings us closer to the true meaning of the Scout Oath and Law.

One Friday afternoon, Ethan led the scouts in the recitation. He raised his right hand in a 90-degree angle at the elbow and said as loudly as he could:
