Talisay City named regional exemplar awardee by DILG

The City of Talisay has been recognized as a Regional Exemplar Awardee in the SubayBAYANI Site Awards 2025, an honor conferred by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) for outstanding local governance performance.
Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas announced the recognition in a statement posted on his official Facebook page, expressing pride in the city’s achievement.
According to the mayor, the award signifies that Talisay City stood out among local government units (LGUs) in the region for its strong performance in governance, transparency, and excellence in managing local projects, as assessed through the DILG’s SubayBAYANI system.
