SC disposition rate drops

The Supreme Court’s disposition rate for both judicial and administrative cases has declined this year, underscoring persistent backlogs across the country’s courts.

SC spokesperson Camille Ting reported on Thursday, December 4, that as of September 30, the high court resolved only 19% of its judicial cases and 27% of administrative and bar matters. The current judicial disposition rate is lower than the 22% posted in 2024.
