Property giant’s diversified portfolio fuels record profits

Megaworld Corp. posted record profits in the first half of 2025 as its diversified property portfolio — spanning residential, office, retail, and hospitality assets — continued to benefit from robust demand, particularly in high-growth regional markets such as Cebu.

The property developer reported a 23 percent year-on-year jump in net income to P12.09 billion for the first six months of the year, with second-quarter earnings climbing 31 percent to P6.26 billion.

Consolidated revenues grew 10 percent to P43.09 billion.

According to the company, strong performance was underpinned by double-digit gains across all core segments, with Cebu emerging as a strategic growth engine.
