Per Sørensen brings Fra Lippo Lippi's hits to Cebu's heights

Just before Fra Lippo Lippi's vocalist Per Øystein Sørensen stepped on stage last Friday, Cebu braced for another rainstorm that persisted throughout the entire show, visible from the venue's windows where raindrops streaked sideways amid the strong winds.
"It's rainy, isn't it?" he asked concertgoers on August 16 at TOPS. "I am glad you're all here. But I hope it doesn't get any worse because I want to see all of you safely home after this."
After the concert, a long queue of passengers formed as they waited to board the shuttle bus back to IT Park. A landslide had blocked the path up to the venue, delaying buses and private vehicles from entering. Despite this, many in the nostalgic crowd would agree that seeing the Norwegian singer live was worth the trip up the hills, especially since it was his Cebu comeback since 2011.
