Pag-IBIG reports strong growth, honors Visayas Stakeholders

Pag-IBIG Fund reported strong performance for the first half of 2025 and reaffirmed its commitment to expanding affordable housing during the second leg of its Stakeholder’s Accomplishment Report (StAR) held recently in Cebu City.

Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Operations Cluster Benjamin R. Felix Jr. highlighted significant gains in property sales, loan performance, and the agency's digital transformation initiatives.
Chief Executive Officer Marilene C. Acosta emphasized the importance of building savings, citing the Modified Pag-IBIG II (MP2) Savings Program, which allows members to save amounts ranging from P500 to P10 million monthly.
Acosta also announced enhancements to Pag-IBIG's short-term loan programs. Members now need only 12 months of savings—down from the previous 24 months—to qualify for the Multi-Purpose Loan, Calamity Loan, and Health and Education Loan. Loanable amounts have been increased to up to 90% of total savings, providing greater financial flexibility.
