P45M in drugs seized in a week

In a span of one week, over P45.8 million worth of illegal drugs was seized and at least 417 individuals arrested in various police operations enforced across Central Visayas.

From July 6 to 12, the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) conducted a total of 389 operations against illegal drugs, loose firearms, illegal gambling, and other crimes in the region.
Drugs estimated at P45,811,872 or equivalent to 6.7 kilograms was confiscated during the 191 anti-drugs operations that also led to the arrest of 228 drug personalities.
PRO-7 also implemented manhunt operations within the region, wherein at least 121 individuals were successfully arrested, 39 of whom were classified as most wanted persons.
