P25M drugs seized in a week

Nearly P25 million worth of illegal drugs was seized during the weeklong anti-drug operations carried out by the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7) across Central Visayas.

From August 17 to 23, at least 3,661.57 grams of suspected shabu worth P24,898,676 was confiscated by the police authorities, leading to the arrest of 144 drug personalities.
Police reported that five of them were considered as big-time drug pushers in the region.
