According to CCPO information officer Police Lieutenant Colonel Jose Los Baños, the Anti-Fencing Law case was already docketed before the Cebu City Prosecutor's Office earlier on Thursday, January 22.
However, he said there are still several documents to be submitted yet, while some affidavits from the owners of the confiscated gadgets remain ongoing.
The said law is in line with the Presidential Decree No. 1612 and penalizes individuals or entities that profit from selling, buying, receiving, or possessing stolen goods, aiming to deter robbery and theft by targeting those who deal in the proceeds of these crimes.
