We look forward to a very promising Nestor Archival-Tommy Osmeña term from July!
A few days after the May 12 election results, Mayor-elect Nestor and VM-elect Tommy Osmeña were very visible thanking their constituents in various barangays.
Barangay Luz residents were gathered by Councilwoman Nida Cabrera for a garbage segregation launching and among their special guests were Sir Nestor and Sir Tommy together with incumbent VM Dondon Hontiveros.
Margot Osmeña was first to arrive.
Of course, the excited Barangay Luz residents gave her a warm round of applause.
Seated beside her, I asked her permission to hug her, to express appreciation for her coming as proxy for VM-elect Tommy who was much-awaited by the crowd at the Barangay Luz gym that afternoon.
She clarified that she was not there as proxy because VM-elect Tommy insisted he would never miss this event to be among his constituents.
True enough, not long after, soon as the arrival of VM-elect Tommy was announced, the crowd went wild with their applause, with many rushing to meet him up close and personal.
And there he was, despite some walking difficulty, VM-elect Tommy was all smiles.
And I pointed to Margot, "wow, look at his very happy eyes!"
