Here's to More Birthdays to Come!

Your social circle will become smaller & smaller, and you’ll have fewer and fewer close friends to confide in”

My friend Joel Marie Yu must have read this, which may be why he hosts birthday celebrations – to celebrate life at this age.

Last February, his birthday celebration began with a Holy Mass with the celebrant, Fr. Roque Vaño. This was an expression of thanks to the Almighty for all of life’s blessings and graces.

I was invited to Joel’s birthday party and said he would limit his invitation to members of the Yu family and close friends. It was a pleasure to be invited because Joel prepares lots of good food and drinks.
