Ford Philippines to rollout EVs by end-2025

Ford Philippines is gearing up to rollout its Electrified Vehicle (EV) lineup to the local market before the end of 2025, as part of the company’s broader strategy to align with global trends in sustainable mobility while expanding its footprint in high-growth regions like Cebu.

Pedro Simoes, President and Managing Director of Ford Philippines, made the announcement during the official opening of Ford Mandaue, the company’s newest and largest service facility in the Visayas region.

“We're proud to confirm that the electrified Ford vehicle lineup will be available in the Philippines before the end of 2025,” said Simoes in an interview.

“In other markets, Ford EVs are already on the road. Filipino customers have been asking for it—and now is the right time to bring them in and optimize the opportunity,” Simoes added.

Ford’s "Electrified Vehicle" line includes hybrid and fully electric models under the Ford Model e business division.

While the company did not disclose specific models or pricing strategies, Simoes said Ford is carefully monitoring market conditions, including potential tariff adjustments, to ensure a competitive rollout.
