DOH renews call on drowning risks

The Department of Health (DOH) in Central Visayas renewed its call for heightened vigilance against drowning incidents, especially among children, as it marked Drowning Prevention Month during a public health forum last March 19.
DOH-7 medical officer Dr. Shelbay Blanco said the agency, through the Center for Health Development in Central Visayas, is strengthening its "For Your Panglawas" campaign focused on drowning prevention, anchored on the "5Bs" safety measures.
