CV to showcase high-value crops in national exhibit

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the High-Value Crops Development Act of 1995, Central Visayas will showcase its unique processed products in a national exhibit at the Department of Agriculture (DA) Central Office.

The exhibit, part of the High-Value Crops (HVC) Week from April 7-14, 2025, coincides with the celebration of Filipino Food Month. It will feature various high-value crop products from different regions across the Philippines.
According to Priscilla Soriano, focal person from DA in Central Visayas, the event aims to showcase the success of high-value crop initiatives.
“Isaulog ni siya para e-highlight ang success stories ug e-highlight ang sufficiency sa mga utanon,” said Soriano.
