CHED-7 now accepts applicants for merit scholars

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) announced that its Merit Scholarship Program for academic year 2025-2026 is ongoing, but for those who want to avail themselves of the scholarship program will still have until June 20, 2025 to apply.

The commission has already asked the assistance of the Department of Education - Central Visayas in the information dissemination to drum up more applicants for the program.
DepEd - 7 Director Salustiano Jimenez had issued a regional memorandum concerning the communication from CHED.
The CHED scholarship program is intended for incoming first-year college students. A total of 195 slots are available for the region, CHED said.
