Cebu bus terminals brace for Undas holiday rush

|October 29, 2025
Cebu's transport authorities are ramping up operations to ensure smoother passenger movement during the All Saints' and All Souls' Day holidays, with terminal administrator Ahmed Cuizon spearheading efforts to decongest Metro Cebu's major transport hubs amid one of the busiest travel weeks of the year.
-
Cuizon, who oversees both the Cebu North and South Bus Terminals, said two satellite terminals will open ahead of the holiday rush to ease congestion.
The temporary hubs will serve northbound passengers from the Ceres Transport Garage in Mandaue's Reclamation Area, beside S&R, and southbound travelers from the Ceres Transport Garage in Kinasang-an, Pardo, Cebu City.
"If you live nearby, take advantage of these satellite terminals to avoid long queues at the main facilities," Cuizon said, adding that the move is part of a broader traffic management plan to ensure efficiency during peak travel days, particularly October 30 and 31.
