Blackwater, TNT get off to flying starts

Christian David provided the spark and RK Ilagan delivered the killer blows in the endgame to lead Blackwater past Terrafirma, 107-87, in the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup at the Ynares Center-Montalban on Friday night, October 10.

David scattered 18 of his 24 points in the first half that gave Bossing control of the game before Ilagan took over in the fourth period with 13 of his 22 points that effectively stifled the Dyip’s protracted uprisings from as much as a 23-point deficit.
Rookie Dalph Panopio also made his presence felt with 13 points, six rebounds and four assists and so did Abu Tratter with 12 markers and eight caroms.
