Aumentado, Baricuatro get key posts in league of provinces

Central Visayas' governors, Aris Aumentado of Bohol and Pamela Baricuatro of Cebu, assumed key leadership roles in the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP), the country's official organization of provincial governments.

Aumentado was elected chairperson for Central Visayas, representing Bohol and Cebu in the LPP's Executive Board for the 2025-2028 term.
His election was confirmed during the oath-taking ceremony held yesterday at Malacañang Palace, where President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. administered the oath of office to the newly elected national officers and board members.
Joining him in the national seats is Cebu Governor Pamela Baricuatro, who was officially named Vice President for Ways and Means during the LPP Special General Assembly held on September 2 at EDSA Shangri-La.
