ABS-CBN Music's first OPM band formed through reality series

ABS-CBN Music officially launched The Red Strings, the company's first original OPM band, formed through the YouTube docu-reality series “The Next Big Band.”

The six-member group was unveiled during the finale episode of the series through a launch party and contract signing under ABS-CBN's alternative rock label DNA Music.
“It has always been the mission of the company to discover new artists, develop them, and help them reach their fullest potential. I know these kids will be the voice of their generation,” said Jonathan Manalo, head of creatives, content, and operations of ABS-CBN Music.
