Luthra bros, owners of Goa inferno club, flee to Phuket

Hours after a fire killed 25 people at a Goa nightclub, its owners, Saurabh and Gaurav Luthra, fled to Phuket in flight 6E 1073 even as police sought Interpol's assistance to track them down.
Earlier on Monday, a Goa Police team reached Delhi to locate the brothers—named in the FIR—but found their Hudson Lane residence near Delhi University locked.
Police had asked the Bureau of Immigration to issue a lookout circular by Sunday evening, and it was promptly activated.
Such a circular alerts authorities at all entry and exit points — airports, seaports and land borders — to detain anyone flagged in the system.
But by the time the alert went live, it was already too late.
Immigration officials at Mumbai airport later discovered that the two accused had boarded a 5.30 am flight to Phuket, Thailand, slipping out of the country just hours after the deadly blaze.
