Two days after arriving in New Delhi on Sunday as Ambassador designate to India, Sergio Gor presented his credentials to President Droupadi Murmu at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on Wednesday.
The swiftness of the process is a reflection both of the importance of the relationship with the United States as well as the efforts being made to bring fresh momentum into concluding the bilateral trade agreement that has seen progress in fits and starts.
