How to use makeup to conceal redness

When you need instant results, makeup can be your best ally. To prevent further irritation, always choose oil-free and noncomedogenic products. Here’s a step-by-step approach;

Wash your hands thoroughly before touching your face.

Cleanse and moisturize your skin to create a smooth base.

Apply a light base, such as a tinted moisturizer or sheer foundation, instead of heavy layers.

Use a thick, putty-like concealer to spot-cover blemishes. Green-tinted concealers can help neutralize redness.

Apply concealer with a clean brush, blending carefully into the surrounding skin.

Set with a light dusting of loose or pressed powder.

If needed, apply a second thin layer of concealer after a few minutes.

Always clean your brushes after use to avoid introducing bacteria back onto your skin.
