Shinde announced that the green space aims to redefine city’s landscape with a sustainable recreational area
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced on Thursday that around 300 acres, including the iconic Mahalaxmi Racecourse and sections of the Mumbai Coastal Road, will be transformed into “Mumbai Central Park.
This world-class green space aims to redefine Mumbai's landscape with a sustainable recreational area. A Detailed Project Report (DPR) has been finalised, with construction set to begin soon, Shinde confirmed.
