A man was arrested within hours of an FIR against him for allegedly molesting his friend's nine-year-old daughter in the Malharganj area, police said on Wednesday.
The girl's father was at work, and her younger brother was outside, playing with his friend at the time of the incident.
According to the minor's father's complaint, he hails from another city and is separated from his wife. He has been living in the city with his two children for a few years.
