Cong must file case if commission charge is false: Ashoka

Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly R Ashoka on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government in Karnataka over allegations of an “80 per cent commission” raised by the contractors’ association, questioning what he termed the ruling partys “double standards” on corruption charges.

Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha, Ashoka said Congress leaders were now demanding proof for the commission allegations, even though they had not insisted on similar evidence when making corruption charges against the previous BJP government. “Those who did not seek proof then, are today asking for evidence. Why this hypocrisy?” he asked.
