Zelenskyy Secures $90bn US Weapons Pledge, Trilateral Meet Pending

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday confirmed plans to purchase USD 90 billion worth of American weapons through European funding as part of a new security guarantee framework, even as efforts continue to fix a date for a proposed trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump.
Speaking after talks with Trump and European leaders at the White House, Zelenskyy said the package would also include drone production in Ukraine, with some to be bought by the US, though no final agreement has yet been signed.
"Ukraine will never stop on the way to peace, and we are ready for any kind of formats, but on the level of leaders," he said.
