SC: Plea moved challenging Rajasthan Civil Judge Cadre Exam 2024 results, seeking evaluation by independent expert committee

The Supreme Court in the case Ms Sonal Gupta And Others Vs. Registrar General Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur And Another will hear the challenge to the Rajasthan Civil Judge Cadre Exam, 2024 for alleged 'arbitrary and flawed' evaluations on October 17, 2024.

The matter was mentioned before the bench headed by CJI DY Chandrachud by the petitioner's counsel.
The matter was listed for an urgent hearing since the interviews for the judicial services would commence today itself.
It has been submitted by her that, 'The interviews will start anytime today.... We can argue the matter today my lords.'
The bench headed by Chief Justice of India, CJI replied that when a similar matter was called out, no one appeared.
The bench in the case refrained from dismissing it for default and posted the matter to be heard on October 17, 2024.
The petitioner's counsel clarified that the petition which was listed yesterday was filed by another counsel and that she was mentioning another matter. She also requested a hearing today itself.
