Reviving Regal Heritage: A Collection With History's Glimpses

Rajasthan is known for its culture, tradition, and heritage all across the globe. The rich legacy of Rajasthan has been carried forward by many people who, taking inspiration from its rich history, have tried to incorporate it into their lives and professions. We see a lot of designers who have taken inspiration from the jewelry, apparel, colors, and the regal lifestyle and taken it forward.

Pragya Tibrewal has also taken inspiration from the past and carries it in her designs. Her collection reflects the cuts, styles, and silhouettes of the Mughal era. From Anarkali to long kurtas to the embroidery done on the dresses, it represents the feel and taste of the Mughal area.

If we talk about heritage, it's not just the history but also the films and the characters that played those roles in the past that determine and define the work style of a lot of designers. One such epitome of style, beauty, and talent was the actress Madhubala. The dresses worn by her in the famous Bollywood classic Mughal-e-Azam continue to be in trend forever. No wedding or fashion show is complete unless the style is used by the bride, groom, or those models who walk down the ramp and mesmerize the audience.
