Q: Welcome, Mr. Shekhawat. Let’s begin by discussing your journey from a student leader to your current role in politics. What are your top priorities for Jodhpur, considering its crucial role in economic progress? 

A: Thank you. Indeed, laying a solid foundation is essential for economic growth. In Jodhpur, we’ve made significant strides in infrastructure development, including road and railway connectivity improvements. The completion of electrification and track doubling from Jodhpur to Phulera have notably enhanced connectivity. However, challenges such as airport expansion and water scarcity persist.

Q: Your efforts in addressing these challenges, particularly in expanding the Jodhpur airport, are commendable. How do you view the responsibility of the state and central governments in managing water resources, given the constitutional framework?
