At its heart lies the mission to unlock the potential of every young Indian, especially girls and young women, by ensuring equitable access, flexibility, and empowerment through education.

NEP 2020 captures the timeless wisdom enshrined in "सा विद्या या विमुक्तये." Vidya vimuktaye—True knowledge is that which liberates from ignorance, poverty, and limitations.

SKILLING THE YOUNG FOR A NEW ECONOMY

One of the most powerful interventions in NEP 2020 is the integration of vocational education from Grade 6, with internships woven into school curricula. This means that students, especially girls from rural and underprivileged backgrounds are getting introduced to skill development early in life, helping them gain financial independence and confidence.
