Congress candidate for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Polls, Alka Lamba, slammed former Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal, over the alleged use of Rs 33 crores of taxpayers' money for the renovation of the Chief Minister's official residence during the pandemic.

This comes as the BJP continues to intensify its attack on the former Delhi Chief Minister over the "Sheesh Mahal" narrative.
Lamba, who has been fielded against CM Atishi from Kalkaji constituency, pointed out that the said amount was spent on items like carpets, curtains, luxurious toilets, and even a swimming pool.
