INDIA CRUSHES AUSTRALIA IN SECOND ODI TO SECURE SERIES TRIUMPH

India secured a resounding victory in the second LODI in Indore, with KL Rahul and his teammates delivering outstanding performances. Ravindra Jadeja claimed the final wicket, dismissing Sean Abbott for 54 runs, leading India to a 99run (DLS) victory over Australia. This win gives India an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Originally, India had set a target of 400, but rain altered the equation. Following the rain delay, Australia needed to chase 317 runs in 33 overs. However, Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja dismantled the Australian batting lineup after the break.

While Sean Abbott and Josh Hazlewood entertained the crowd with a 77-run partnership, India eventually sealed the game in the 29th over.

Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first.

India lost the first wicket of Ruturaj Gaikwad on 8, dismissed by Josh Hazlewood.
